I recently posted in the highly-entertaining 4-rotor thread. Like everyone else, I can't wait to see it completed.
But I was actually writing about the ITB setup you've got- I know it's a semi-PP, and I'm still using side ports, but I'm struggling to get mine to start. Do you have any hints for getting it started with the ITBs? Thanks!
John, I've watched your build for a few years now and I must say... You are among the rotary gods! Just wanted share my kudos with you and ask if you have any more vids of the car running and driving? I'd love to see/hear this thing let loose! Thanks a mil,
Zach
John,
First of all, excellent build ! I check this link almost every day to see what new wizardry you have done. You have my utmost respect for your manufacturing skills and attention to details.
On the question of starter and battery: Go with a better quality starter and battery with more amps. You can force 24v into a 12v system, but I guarantee you that the 12v system will melt down, possibly frying your computer and other components, and so much for all your hard work as it goes up in smoke.
Don't listen to the guys who only bolt on parts and think they are engineers. Go with a quality aftermarket 12v starter and a quality high cranking amps battery. It might cost more money, but watching your car catch fire costs more.
Hi John.
Sorry for being a nusance but somewhere on this site was a picture of a four rotor very old 12A and want the same one build. Using the old twin dizzy's with "1982 rx 7 distributer caps then normal aspirated .I would like to use your type of mod on the centre iron. but i dont know what holds the stationary gears together to prevent them to hit the rotor. If it is possable can i buy the damaged ones u got . to import things to South africa it is quite expensive not to mention the shipping costs . and to machine something here i can buy a new rx 8 motor. I want to send u apicture of the old four stage that ihave ,i could upload it but i dont know how

Hello,
You have the most amazing build I have seen in forever. I know this is probalbly a crazy question, but any chance I could get the cad data for when yoy built your e shaft. I have a dream of building a 4 rotor myself. Keep doing what your doing in any case. Great job man
