Hi Satch, I just wanted to thank you for posting the fixing for a non - turning off engine. I had the same problem. Initially the fuel pump was not working I plug and unplugged many wires and switchs fuses relays etc and ended up replacing the fuel pump but the problem contined. Then after months I opened this forum and read about the faulty fuel pump relay and how to made the bridge between the internal switch and It worked! My car start running but it did not turned off , then I read your posting and went to the alternator and noticed that there were two identical plugs next to the alternator one was conected, the other one not. So I reversed them and Bingo! It turned off and is working just fine. So, I wanted to thank you and all forum for your help. By the way, the trick mentioned for another guy to turn the engine off by pressing the electrical windows did not work for me. Ooooh ! I forgot to say that my car is a RX-7 1985 GSL 12A engine . Cheers!
Hey satch,
So i was having a issue with my car and its a 85 GSL-SE with a turbo 2 swap. Block is S5 turbo and im using all S4 turbo electronics. ECU is Rtek 1.8 and i have 680cc primaries and 720cc secondaries. The issue im having is my car runs super rich all the time. I have changed every part and its just not making a difference. Before i was having idle issues but i changed out both the leading and trailing coils and it improved so holds idle now no prob and no back fires. Cruising shows 14.8 on the AFR. But the issue now is when i hit boost the AFR shows 7. The car hesitates and bucks nasty when i try to punch the throttle. What could possibly cause my car to do this. I have stock fuel pump and new fuel filter. New coolant temp sensor and new O2 sensor. I have been asking around on the forums and no one has been able to answer me with any info that could help. Sorry to post on your wall but i need some expert advice. Thanks for your time.
Hey Satch, can you check out the thread where we were trying to troubleshoot my car? I got some results from the fuel pressure test and would really appreciate any feedback from you.
Thread title: Lean issue when secondaries "kick on"
ok so I checked very thing you said to and I got the 12v at the b/w wire but still .106v at the brown tps plug and I am cleaning up the cas now and the coils where firing when I was driving then out of nowhere the car shut off and thats when all of this started.
Thanks for the reply.

I have a 88 s4 and I have power to my coils and they are not firing and all fuses are good and I have been looking everywhere to figure out what is wrong with it. I also doesn't have the tach blip. The main relay is good and I also checked the tps and got a reading of .102 on all of the wires at the plug with the key on. Any help would be great.
