Veilside Fortune Body Kit

I'm looking for a Veilside Fortune Body Kit for my FD. Does anyone know where I can actually find one? Thanks in advance for your response. Any thoughts, warnings, and advise from people who have experience with this kit?

This is the FD it will be going on. 1993 FD with only 49k miles. It is in MINT condition.

advice: dont do it... ive done the veilside thing and its cool for awhile but the money can be spent so much more feasably on the vehicle elsewhere.

thats a beautiful specimen of a car you have there! save some money and go 99spec!

Thats a big $$$ body kit, and with all the time/labor to get it fitted and painted, youll end up with a FD thats all show and no go. And a large hole in your wallet...

You can buy the kit from any of the VeilSide dealers or straight from VeilSide if you want.

It's big and expensive, but pretty cool!

yea if ur plans are for a show car go for it, its a beautiful kit but if u want something u can Drive and Push without worring about the 15K u invested just go 99 spec or hit up Shineauto check out there vendor page they make nice kits, that give u a good look while still haveing a nice functioning car for about 1/4 the price.

I love my kit. My car is not only show. It is feasible to have exotic aero and a great performing car. Depends on what you want, and how detailed you build. What ever you decide, make sure it is for you, not to appease other people. Good luck!

You car is too clean and too low mileage to go adding a ridiculous kit to it. It is however one of the few kits that are really well laid out. The stock car however has PERFECT body lines. I vote for keeping her clean and mean. If you love driving the car then I advise highly against a kit on any type. For example: The R1 lip on the front of your car takes quite a beating, curb the front of any aero kit once and you will be crying. An exaggeration but still. Your car is very tasteful as it sits. I would leave her be. Just my 2 cents.

I would not put the Fortune kit on the car if I were you as your car is in excellent condition. If you really want to do then get another FD that needs body work. Mind you the kit alone will cost you $10,000, that's minus the body shop work to properly mold onto your car, not to mention the paint job you will need after the molding. You would also need a set of wider wheels that will run you at least $3,000 with tires. As I said don't do it unless you got something close to $30,000 to blow to do the right job on the car.

+1 Don't do it to your "mint" FD, since your going to spend that much money on the exterior buy another FD to put the kit on

Thanks to everyones insights. They are taken into serious considerations. I do realize how much the kit and labor will cost. If I pull the trigger on it, I was well aware and prepared to spend the money for it.

I say don't do it. The less people that have the Fortune kit the rarer my car will be. Just kidding man, if you like the kit (as I do), go for it.

If we had common sense, we would have never gotten an RX-7

If you MOD your car to the approval of others then is not really yours...

do your research, make a decision and execute it... do what ever you want to do, not what other people tell you to do, after all it is YOUR car and your money.

there is so much talk on the Fortune kit... you either love it or hate it.. there is hardly anything in between... but the fact of the matter is this: drive an RX7 with the Fortune kit and everyone will be salivating over it...

And about show and no go comment... who are you kidding?
the car in it's stock form is fast...
add some bolt ons and you will have a mean beast...

which ever way u wish to go, just enjoy your built and have fun with it !

Just my 2 cents...

Can someone please tell me where I can order the body kit? That's not a scam or if you have a kit tell me where you got yours. No one really answered the guy's question about where to get it, mostly bashed on the kit.
