New to the forum, new to the joys of FD ownership. I have had my car for a week and couldn't stand the clunks coming from the rear suspension. I spent the better part of the afternoon coming to the conclusion I may have to live with it...
See you guys next week!

Wasn't today, but on Friday I had an oil line failure.
Dave, Aaron, you guys are awesome. Thank you.
I had 2 things to do, stop by and pickup some vinyl work from Dave, and see a homeowner to give them an estimate for some work to be done.
Luckily I decided to hit Dave's first. On the way, a twisted oil line decided to blow, and by the time I got there, temps had started to rise. Oil everywhere, a trail down the street, what a mess.
A call to Aaron and he happened to have some -10 line, and I was back on the road. If this had happened at a potential customers place instead of where it did, the day would have been a complete disaster.
Had to take off once it was running, I owe you for the mess on the driveway, hope it wasn't too bad. You guys ever need anything I can help with, let me know.

Gorgeous! I love white FC's. would love to see some closeup of the pearl.
Diggin those wheels.
Today - major MS3x tuning progress for the S5 street port 13b 6port/VDI.
Re-mapped my target AFR's and ignition table from the info gathered in these threads:

https://www.rx7club.com/naturally-as...y-afrs-714259/
Now i'm smoothly cruising around 15.5 AFR, and have gained TONS more midrange and wide-open power. Also tightened up the alternator belt because it was squealing above 7,000 RPM.
And she has no problems going above 7000rpm.

tore down 2 engines yesterday, one with a bad apex seal, had a lot of chatter marks on the housings irons were pretty worn also, then tore one down with bad oil control rings, all the O-rings were shrunken up and the oil rings fell out of both rotors! housings and irons seem to be in useable shape tho!
im a lousy photographer, only took 1 pic I tore the first one down and my dad did the second 1
planning to do s4 na 6port rebuild for my dads silver gxl

Joe came over and we changes my SE to wasted spark ignition, huge difference. Also learned I was
not doing compression test correctly. Thought my SE was sitting at 80, it's closer to 94. GS is just over 105.
Did some polishing of taillights I have stored. Look brand new now.

Drove the TurboFB around and dialed in some more of the tuning map. Got into boost a bit, and still needs a bunch of tuning in that part of the map. But, the vacuum portion is feeling pretty nice. Also, stripped the whale tail in prep for paint, as well as cleaning up a few dings on the front air dam. Can't wait for Fest! It'll be ready!. Oh, going to stretch some tires on my Epsi's too... Did I say streeeettttcccchhhh?
