FC3s with 13b-REW Swap?

Well, I might be trading my beloved S13 Coupe for a 91 Vert FC.
He said the Apex seals are bad in the N/A engine, but.. He'll throw in a FD3s engine swap, for free.

He told me all I need to do, to do the Swap is get motor mounts, Intercooler, and piping.

I'm not finding alot of information on this swap? I'm probably not researching the right thing.

Is there ANY Custom fabrication necessary?

I need to know, as soon as possible. What I need to do. (: Looking at the car today.

Thanks guys!

Uh, you could say that: FC3S Pro v2.0:&nbsp Engine Swaps - 13B-REW Engine Swap

It's not a bolt on.

No that won't work unless ur making custom manifolds, etc. HOWEVER! I do have a custom mount made for swapping a rew into an fc. Literally bolt on using fc mounts. Pm me if interested.

So cost wise I'd probably just be better off porting the fc motor, that's fine with me I was just wondering, since the fd ports are a lil bigger. Appreciate it.

Well an n/a fc engine 146hp compared to a REW 260~hp it's a huge difference lol. And if he's offering the full swap I'd take it.

Na I'm straight, I can make plenty power on my 13bt, most big hp fc's still have fc motors anyway, I was just thinkin about the idea.

It's hard to get more than 400hp out of a 13bt unless ur bridging or P-porting it though. My HP goals were 550-600 that's y I was going 13brew

Na I've seen much more, close to 700whp on mild ports. Right tune and turbo you should make 500whp fairly easy.

^Thats badass. 13b rews seem to be the motor of choice when going for major power. I like the reliability of the 12a though

Unless you want to show off you have a 13B-REW in your FC, S5T engine can do about the same. 13BT 300whp+ is really not that hard to achieve if you have the right parts or you/your mechanic know what he's doing.
I had a large street port w/hybird turbo powered by LT-10, I was running about 310whp@16psi. Good luck on your trade!

Forget 3-500hp, I'm shootin for 600 and up haha...the most I've seen is 605whp on a 13bt with e85...same fuel with an s475, someone I know, white 9 sec fd, named Roan, made 746whp and 805 on e98...street driven too.
Yall should look up motivefab.com, they have mounts that solve the mounting issue, another friend I have runs those mounts in his fc and vouches for them, I'm lookin into em now.
