Special thanks to Robert Santiago from 2fast autosports.

long story short i bought an fd from Alex lopez from lopez racing almost 2yrs a go and not to get into detail but i would never ever buy anything from this guy ever again not even a bottle of water if it was the last bottle of water on earth. i had the car for 3 months and the engine blew up and when we took it apart we noticed that the engine was put together from 3 different engines it had a housing from a turbo II, 2 rear rotors and a bunch of different parts, it was a complete Frankenstein.

i ran into this guy who i bought a tranny from who imports engines from japan and he offered me a 20b + cash for my shell so i ended up making the deal and then i went and bought another fd and end up with a super car that i call 1bad20b.

The engine was built by Eddy colon and Gaby skern at roberts shop.

-big street port studded and balanced, the rotors were lighten.
-bw s480 turbo, 4 inch downpipe with electric cut out.
-hks GT II 60mm wastegate
-modified stock subframe, custom manifold, 4inch intercooler
-msd DIS 4 ignition boxes, msd coils
-microtech lt 16 with dash controller

and the list goes on.. the only thing that is stock on the car is the tranny and the rear end and the steering wheel which is about to go.
i have to say that im very proud of owning an rx7 and i wouldn't sell it nor trade it for any other car in this world.. maybe a 4rotor fd

Very Very nice set-up. If I may, some of these will make good desktop backgrounds for my computer.

Great build. Is that the Burnout ducktail spoiler on the rear? Looks good.

Is your MSD driving the leading and trailings or what's the setup there?

Gordon
i love the stance coilovers, i went with 12k/10k spring rate.

i got the spoiler from shine autoproject and i get a lot of compliments on it

ya, leading and trailing.

It in mid April - beautiful weather in NC that time of the year. The people from Daytona met up down there and then drove up here to Jax and we then went on up 95 to I26.

nothing short of magnificent! very inspiring to have gone through this thread... thank you for sharing!!

and i hear ya loud and clear when you say:

"i have to say that im very proud of owning an rx7 and i wouldn't sell it nor trade it for any other car in this world.. maybe a 4rotor fd"

it's a beautiful thing to say such words and really mean it...

out of curiousity, what kinda of numbers are you hammering down in terms of boost pressure, horse power, and torque? if i were to to make a guess, i'd say something along the lines such as 550hp/440ft./lbs. of torque @ 15 psi

oh, and the CCW's done sealed the deal! great choice

Awesome build bewtew. When is Gaby going to tune it? He tuned my car a few years ago and it runs great. I am now going to a single turbo set-up and will have it tuned again by him hopefully before the holidays. Deals gap event in April is awesome. Been the last 4 years in a row. Look into it for next year. We can all caravan as usual. I'll let you know when i coming over to Orlando to tune. Soon as I can get my damn parts here. G

thank you, Gaby is very busy and he was suppose to tune my car but we never got to do it so Jesus Padilla ended up tunning my car. i'm going to the dyno next week to dial up the boost and start my quest for 825whp+.

Well my car is apart once again.. when i had the car cornered scaled i noticed that some of the rear bushings were shot so i decided to replace all the bushings with powerflex polyurethane bushings

i love my bw s480 but i want to hit full boost a few rpm's sooner so i'm switching the exhaust housing from 1.32 to 1.10

i run a 4 inch down pipe with electric cut out to 3 1/2 " to 3" midpipe and exhaust and is restricting the exhaust flow too much so i'm going for 4 inch exhaust from my cut out back..

my hks ti for sale if anybody interested.. is 3 months old.
